- Day 1: Enjoy scenic one hour seaplane ride to the tip of the Penobscot River; includes canoe ride to Lobster Lake, hiking, fishing, exploring and a delicious fireside lobster or steak dinner cooked shore side by your private Registered Maine guide (full day trip)
- Day 2: Full-day whitewater rafting including lunch, back by 4:00

Are you planning a trip to Moosehead Lake to see North American Moose and explore the North woods? If so, this package is perfect. Stay at the Lodge and spend a eight hours with your own private Registered Maine guide. This trip will leave mid-day. Travel by vehicle to private and remote locations or include canoeing and/or hiking to areas frequented by our famous moose. It’s up to you.
It is common to see white-tail deer, beavers at work building a dam, loons, ducks, fox, snowshoe hares, gray squirrels, possibly a bald eagle and, of course, moose. The terrain, rivers, lakes, flora and natural grandeur will be as original as the Lodge itself. Enjoy dinner prepared over an open fire or camp stove. Truly memorable!

Moosehead Sampler
In 3 nights at the Lodge you can experience the most popular adventures and fine food offered in Moosehead. This package is available from the time the lodge opens in May till we close the end of October.
- Gourmet breakfast every morning
- Day 1: Moose Safari & Wildlife Tour – AM or PM trips, private Registered Maine guide. All lodge tours include picnic breakfast or afternoon cheese/fruit/bread snack. Upgrade to hot breakfast prepared camp fire style.
- Day 2: Hiking – Complete instructions to Mount Kineo with picnic lunch – be sure to bring a camera; (shuttle closes on Columbus day weekend) Other hikes can be substituted.

For evenings when you want something lighter, reserve our exquisite Charcuterie Sunset Platter. So very special to enjoy on your private deck or the great room porch. The platter consists of about eight ounces of soppressata, capicola, prosciutto, select venison dry aged sausage and pork sausage. In addition there is grain mustard, nuts, goat cheese rolled in cracked peppercorns, chutney, Winter Hill Farm Cheese including ashed bloomy rind cheese, Boursin, and camembert. This is served with an assortment of artisan breads and crackers.

We recommend a Pinot Noir or Syrah with the Charcuterie, available from our wine list at an additional charge.

Maine Elopement Package
Our elopement package is just for the Bride & Groom and has everything you need for the most romantic event in your life.
The package features a garden ceremony overlooking Moosehead Lake with an indoor location provided for inclement weather. We provide a bridal bouquet & groom boutonniere, along with a local minister or Justice of the Peace to perform the ceremony. Capture the memories with a 10-page deluxe album filled with 20 photos from your one-hour photo shoot. Dinner for two, a wedding cake, and much more is also included.
