This time of year, Greenville becomes a winter wonderland of immense natural beauty and seasonal cheer. Our warm, quiet, wooded lake oasis is a picture perfect place to spend the holidays. Come snuggle up in front of the fire with a warm drink and soak up those gorgeous lake and mountain views.
You’ll also find plenty of fun winter activities to take part in outside the Lodge, especially with Greenville’s annual Deck the Halls event coming right up.
Deck The Halls Celebration in Greenville
Deck The Halls is an annual series of events in celebration of the holiday season, held in and around Greenville, ME. The month-long event features a variety of fun holiday attractions, including a Christmas parade, tree lighting, unique shopping opportunities, kids activities, and more.
The Deck the Halls annual Christmas Decor Contest sees the area come to life with twinkling lights and fanciful decorations. Restaurants offer special meals, shops hold holiday sales, people are smiling, it’s a truly magical time.

Historic Holiday Tours in Greenville, ME
Saturday, December 11, from December 11 – 12pm to 4pm
Moosehead Lake is home to a variety of historic properties, including three inns: Blair Hill Inn, The Greenville Inn, and Lodge at Moosehead Lake.
Blair Hill Inn, built in 1891, was a gentleman’s estate and breeding farm. Greenville Inn, built in the 1880’s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was a lumber baron’s country estate. The Lodge at Moosehead Lake, built in 1917, was a banking family’s summer residence.
Visit and tour all three of these beautiful, historic inns during Deck the Halls’ Historic Holiday Tours. Innkeepers will warmly welcome attendees and share the histories of their special and festively decorated inns. Fascinating and fun!
