Introducing Chef Stephen Ascencios

We are beyond thrilled and very proud to introduce Chef Stephen Ascencios, our newest addition to the Lodge at Moosehead Lake. His impressive experience and credentials along with his passion for incredible cooking, make him the perfect chef to serve our valued guests.

A Certified Executive Chef, he has experience from around the globe including Paris, Barcelona, and Monaco. With a long list of accomplishments that include winning the Chaine des Rotisseurs International Competition Award, it is no surprise that he is a member of the USA Olympic Culinary team and cooked for prestigious, celebrity guests including President Clinton, Tom Cruise, Michael Jordan, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Chef Stephen is joined at the Lodge by his wife Katie who has a lot of experience in property and event management and is very successful in her own right. They will be working beside each other to bring an unparalleled hospitality to our lodge. They know every ingredient necessary for creating an impeccable dining experience. They are a passionate and professional team that just simply cannot be beat!

Chef Stephen has extensive experience with food allergy restricted diets such as gluten free and vegan. We are confident that no matter what your needs and preferences are, you will always have something to savor when you dine with us.
