Experience a Winter Wilderness Adventure at the Lodge at Moosehead Lake. An overnight dog sledding trip exclusively from the Lodge at Moosehead Lake provides a “Once in a lifetime” adventure through the beautiful remote wilderness of the Maine North woods. This twenty-four hour trip includes learning to set up equipment, harnessing, dog care and mushing your own team. Take in views of the mountain range under the Appalachian Trail. Spend the night, dinner and breakfast in an isolated rustic cabin surrounded by quiet, new fallen snow and whistling pines. This adventure requires a minimum 2 night stay at the Lodge (total 3 nights). It includes breakfast every morning. Lodge rooms with package start at $1799 plus 7% lodging for 2 persons. Consider suite upgrades or lodge suppers on Friday & Saturday.
