Dining at the Lodge is exclusive to our lodging guests giving us time for unequaled service and attention to your needs. Never feel rushed, the table is yours.
A day at the Lodge starts you off with a hearty breakfast served in the Lakeview dining room and patio (weather permitting). Join us from 8:00 to 9:00 am at a private table for two of your choice. First course starts with coffee, choice of teas and juices, yogurts, our own cereal, breads, fresh fruits and pastries baked daily including strudel, scones, muffins, and banana breads. If you choose to sleep-in, our first course options will be available until 10:00 am. In summer and fall months, we are often joined by one of our Maine guides to answer questions about the area and get you started on your day.

Guests at the lodge are typically up and gone shortly after breakfast for a day of unequaled outdoor adventures. With 24 hour notice, we can send you out with a lunch for a hike, including a backpack; cooler and blanket for a picnic either on the grounds or in the beautiful North Woods. All ready by 9:30 am. $29 for 2.
Floor to ceiling windows allows a panoramic view of Moosehead Lake and surrounding mountains from the Lakeview dining room. Immediately outside is the wrap deck, perfect for lingering over that extra cup of coffee or last glass of wine. From mid-June through Columbus Day the Lodge serves dinner on Friday Saturday and Sunday. Feast on the best Maine offers with fresh seafood, warm mixed berry cobblers, perfectly grilled beef filet, locally grown buffalo, Maine crab cakes, Lobster Mac and Cheese, stuffed trout and much more. Everything is Ala Carte so the choice is yours.

Dinner is served from 6:00 – 8:30. Reservations are a must. Check for exact dates. The Lodge also serves a 5-course New Year’s Eve dinner.

Directly outside Chloe’s Pub on the crest of the Lodge’s vast manicured backyard is our natural boulder fire pit; Enjoy a glass of wine at sunset or gaze at the beautiful stars on a clear summer night…so big and close it seems you could grab them from the sky.
Sunday evenings from the 4th of July weekend through Labor Day, the Lodge features Safari Camp Dinners, a truly unique Al Fresco experience. Choice of lobster or steak with seafood chowder, campfire biscuits, summer salads and skillet potatoes are prepared by our Registered Maine Wildlife Guide. You’ll finish your Safari Camp Dinner with Gourmet S’mores around the fire pit. $49 pp
End your day with the Lodge’s own Charcuterie Sunset Platter, includes cured local & domestic meats, accoutrements; available Monday through Thursday only and delivered by 6:30. 24 hour notice is required. $29 for 2; Chef recommends you add an Oregon Ponzi Pinot Noir. $53 (available June – October)
From January through March, on Friday and Saturday evenings, we serve a winter supper in Chloe’s Pub where the welcome is casual and the atmosphere is very social. After a day of snowmobiling or snowshoeing, you can warm up with homemade chowder, chili, hot BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, Lodge Panini, Bison Short Rib pie, and other hearty winter specials. Guest pantry in the Lodge is stocked daily with complimentary snacks. You’ll find all kinds of things from homemade chocolate chip cookies, pastries, fresh fruit, sodas, a large variety of teas, and other special items whipped up just for you.

Gourmet S ‘mores Kit – Maine made vanilla and maple marshmallows; Ghirardelli dark chocolate squares; Whole Wheat Graham crackers; make your S ‘mores by the fireplace in winter or at the fire pit in summer/fall. Enough to make 4 S ‘mores; the best you have ever tasted. $12
