Over 15 inches on the ground and more coming.  Get out the skis, snowshoes and load up the snowmobiles…winter fun is here!  These were taken this morning.

We woke to the first snow fall of the year.  It would appear to be about 5″. They are forecasting a little more today and then sunny for next couple days.  This is all you need to go snowshoeing.  It is always special to walk on new fallen snow. Make your winter plans soon! 

New February Snow at the Lodge

New snow at the Lodge as of 8:00 am this morning. About 20 inches on the ground now.

It’s now noon and we are still digging out only to learn more coming this afternoon. We have guests to leave and guests coming in tomorrow. What a winter wonderland in Maine.

Almost 2 Feet of New Snow at the Lodge – 12/04/07

Monday and Tuesday provided almost 2 feet of new snow at the Lodge. This is sure to stay. The coves of the lake are frozen and winter activities are starting up. November Snow

The first winter snow came to the Lodge with a total of 5″ on November 16th. That’s enough to do snowshoeing and more is on the way this week. If you are a winter snow bunny, make your reservations now!
