New stone and slate patio from the suites at the Lodge at Moosehead Lake

The garden patios from the Carriage House suites have been updated and remodeled with slate embedded in small stones. The picture is the Katahdin Suite garden.  Each garden has areas to add annual flowers in the spring for color and easy access to a pathway leading to the yard overlooking Moosehead Lake and surrounding mountains.

Two travel writers from “Alright, I’m Wrong” spent a day and evening at the Lodge this week. They were from the southern Maine, Portsmouth, NH area. Chloe Adds to Relaxation at Lodge

Chloe, the Lodge French Bulldog, takes her job seriously. Guests often come to the Lodge to relax and enjoy the great views of Moosehead Lake. Chloe is here to help. She knows they miss their dogs. She is always the first to greet a new guest and provides special affection that only Chloe can do.
