New Year’s Eve 2008

The Lodge offered a 5-course New Year’s Eve Dinner with seatings at 6:00 and 8:00 pm. Guests enjoyed options of appetizers, entrees and desserts along with a soup and salad course. Participation was up over last year and even though the weather was very cold, guests enjoyed a cozy and delicious celebration to ring in the new year…it is becoming clear that the only way to guarantee participation in New Years at the Lodge is to reserve your rooms and dinner seats early!

The dining room looks lovely and the outdoor winter scene is gorgeous. I was an innkeeper in the northeast and celebrated eleven (11) New Year’s Eves with our guests. There is something magical about sharing this holiday with your inn guests. We found that over the years the same guests would plan to visit on New Years and they became like family. I still hear from many of these families, even though I retired from innkeeping in 1997.
