Welcome to the Lodge at Moosehead Lake,

Linda and Dennis Bortis took ownership of the Lodge at Moosehead Lake on June 1, 2007. Linda brings 30 years of experience in foodservice marketing, customer service and communications know-how to this new business. Most recently Linda was Vice President, Director of Integrated Communications for NOBLE, a national advertising agency with specialization in food and foodservice marketing. Pair that with Dennis’ accounting, tax law, residential refurbishing and business management expertise. It’s a solid combination that manages the growth of this luxury lodging facility.

“We will continue that great hospitality, you’ve come to expect from The Lodge at Moosehead Lake,” says Dennis. “Our goal is to provide the lodge guests with unexpected delights that will immerse them in both pampering and adventure,” adds Linda.

We knew that someday we would own property in Maine and have always loved this part of the country.  The Lodge is our style. We love the warmth along with the wonderful pampering.  Most importantly we love the way our guests feel when they are here.  You can actually see the stress fall off from the first day to the last. This is what the Lodge at Moosehead Lake is all about.
