Each of the nine rooms at the Lodge has been uniquely decorated to reflect the natural surroundings of Moosehead Lake while providing the ultimate in luxury. And therefore, a visit to the Lodge need never be the same twice.
Guests who have stayed in a Main Lodge Room often find it hard to believe that the Carriage House Suites can offer more comfort, until they are shown one! These more spacious suites offer that next level of luxury.
The three first floor Carriage House Suites offer 500 sq. ft., a high degree of privacy and include a sunken living room that features a fireplace with a furniture grouping (sofa, comfortable lounge chairs, coffee and side tables). You will enjoy magnificent views from the floor to ceiling windows and French doors that open to your private 10x16 covered deck with glider rockers. Step down to a slate pathway, surrounded by beautiful perennial gardens. Let’s not forget the luxurious bathrooms! Each of the bathrooms are very large in size with a double Jacuzzi-style tub, separate shower, and a mini-refrigerator, not to mention a flickering chandelier and candles to set the mood. In the Katahdin bathroom you will have the added enjoyments of a second gas-log fireplace and a double vanity.
The second floor of the Carriage House is the crown jewel of the Lodge with over 1,100 sq. ft. dedicated to your total relaxation in the Mt. Kineo Suite. Marvel at the panoramic views of Moosehead Lake and the surrounding mountains!
