Four luxurious Carriage House Suites offer exquisite design and rich appointments. Being removed from the main lodge, the suites offer seclusion, peace and solitude to commune with nothing more than nature and each other.
The first floor suites offer gas-log fireplaces and romantic oversized bathrooms with river stoned two person Jacuzzi-style baths set into mirrored corners and illuminated by flicker chandeliers and candles. If you're not in the mood for the bath, there's a separate shower as well. The Katahdin suite has a second fireplace in the bathroom. Both the Allagash and Baxter suites feature beautifully appointed queen size beds suspended from the ceiling by antique "Boom Chains" once used to float logs down Moosehead Lake. Let the gentle sway lull you to sleep or make the bed stationary if you prefer. The Katahdin suite features a king size sleigh bed with a Moose antler canopy.
The Mt. Kineo suite offers a large private balcony overlooking Moosehead Lake, a gas-log fireplace, living room, dining room and full kitchen. Two Queen size bedrooms share a large bath with double granite vanity, separate soaking tub and a walk-in shower.
